With the age of 40 personally not that far away for myself, probably no age is more significant than this particular one, and assess where you are in your life.
With the average age of humans around the 80 mark, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that at this age, I will have lived half of my life. And for the next half, I will definately need reading glasses and some other support for my body. Plus the odds are how I’ve lived the first half will dictate how my second half will play out. And that is just it: if you aren’t happy with your life, you’d better start to change things. And quick.
Whether it be your relationship with your loved ones, your career, your finances, etc., time is starting to run out. Because let’s face it, once you reach around your 60′s, there isn’t much that you can change. Forty however still gives you a chance to do some things over, or start them fresh.
From a personal perspective, I couldn’t be happier where I am in life, and actually I am hoping that the next forty years will play out like the first 40 have.
